Jason Hagani published his paper on Mapping and modeling human-black bear interactions in the Catskills region of New York using resource selection probability functions. This was work that was funded by the Catskills Science Collaborative at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. This was especially impressive work given that our original fieldwork plans were scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
