Our paper 'Using publicly available data to conduct rapid assessments of extinction risk' was published in Conservation Science and Practice. We created a workflow, and named her REBA. This paper was led by Michael Levin and Jared Meek, and was inspired by a trip to the New York Botanical Garden where our co-author Brian Boom talked to us about the high numbers of plants that were data-deficient, not assessed, or very overdue for a reassessment in the IUCN's RedList.
